Ever sold a saw and immediately regretted it? Just sold my jonsered 2171 to my mates brother, I rang him to see if he actually needs the saw because he can just borrow it and give it back if he wants. He said no but he’s going to drop me off some beef from his farm along with the cash.

I have a 372 high top in pieces in my garage , I hope I can get it to run as well as that beast.

Bummer man. I always keep the red ones.

@raumati01 to answer your initial question, yes, a handful of saws I have sold, or traded off, fit the criteria of "immediately regretted it".

Homelite 750
Husqvarna 2100CD
Husqvarna 288XP-W
Husqvarna 576XP-W

Bought a husky running 1100 for $35 a few months back will never sell it
My old man just gave me his 181 that we cut trees up with for 30 years, will never sell it [will put a chain brake on it if I ever use it though]
Got a 576 project saw, needs a piston. Really want to see which online reviews are actually true about these, the one consistent thing is the anti vibe is awesome.

Never regret selling any. Saws easily replaced IMHO and Life goes on.

Did I read on another forum that you sold a pretty much all your saws ? That was pretty impressive I thought.

Mine was a minty 066 Flat Top West Coast. Had a factory 3/4 wrap, dual port, deep clutch cover and big dogs. Guy offered me way too much for it and I let it go, instantly regretted it. Fortunately several years later my friends @Canadian farm boy and @Deets066 built me a full wrap that is even nicer.

This isn't one that I sold and regretted but it was for sale on my local Craigslist. It was posted at night and I don't like being called after 7 so I don't call people after 7. I waited until 8 am the next morning and it was sold. Man I wanted this saw!

Those snap on screwdrivers are pretty sweet too.

After my back surgery I sold my 365 Special. Didn't think I'd be able to run a saw that big anymore and my son was still pretty little. As soon as the guy put it in his truck I wanted to tell him I changed my mind.

Now I have the same policy for chainsaws that I have for guns....I buy guns, I don't sell them!
