The mighty stihl 064 and early 066

My glass bead media won’t touch the Stihl “paint” unless it has already started to flake. I was wondering if he was using some sort of chemical stripper.

The inside of my 064 crankcase was flaking. It took a while getting it back to the magnesium, by hand and an assortment of anything that could fit.

IIRC it went to a fella in Greece. I think he has a couple of SCARR ported saws.

Unfortunately @Glock37 is out of the powder coating game...at least for now. I have some stuff that I would like to get powdered as well.
