It's ok someone else can claim it I found a minty poulan top handle I'll give my neighbor he's 90 and still cuts fence line

top handle and prolly a '72 as the serial is low it took alota tlc to be a runner but it was a nuisance thrift store give away so i tlc'd it for limb werk but its a thumb oiler so its a collector piece imo . not for me.

looking at the spec sheet, sez what the points gap is and i never went that far on it to check em so all considered i bet its passed gas for very few tanks of 20:1

I spent a week checking but never figured out who needed a good 288 pto case. The other is there but was welded. They are a matched pair but the welded flywheel side one could use some ends finished up. They did the deed with it assembled. Nothing cracked in the case pressure areas.
