Only downside is when disturbed the dust chokes and tastes bitter, (why I haven’t explored the animal condos below) and when humid they smell like pee sometimes.

Makes me wonder what it's like to be up in that tree at night.
watch it go from late in the day to a bit after dark
I could sit in a spot like that when I was a kid/teenager/early 20's. not so much now i guess.

There used to be an old barn near my house that I would go sit on the roof, in summer, when the Fireflys were in season. was awsome to get there at sundown and watch the "shift change"
as birds and things settled in and night things began to stir.
Looking down across an old fallow field as the ligtnin bugs come out..

The most beautiful tree if you ask me.
Lonely pine, ours are Pinus sylvestris, usually is growing like that one in the picture. Although max diameter somewhere like 2ft. When sun lightens one of those they are gorgeous.
