New here. Sorry if this has been said. Just trying to help.
Son in law has a husky T540 with a muffler mod and he would sleep with this thing under his pillow. When he is doing crain work or climbing, boss asks if he wants a ms362 sent up. Answer is no unless really big wood.
It started quiting hot and really hard to restart. Not good for climbing. Dealer told him bad gas and installed new software. Still same problem.
He brought it to me. I noticed he was hitting the primer bulb to restart after hot stall. Put in a new fuel filter that it did not need then removed the duck bill valve from the gas tank breather. Problem solved.
Is there any reason to put a duck bill back in? I can't see how fuel could get through the long and winding breather hose.
