I ordered and paid for 70 dollars worth of decals on the 16th of last month and never recieved a confirmation email....I've sent multiple emails over past few weeks with 0 responses. They usually take 3 weeks to send decals but not sure if I should file claim with PayPal or not? Hopefully this gets some responses.Im aware that life right now is hard and confusing but just answer my email and say yes it's being processed. Thanks

I've done a lot of work with Joe and I'm certain that as long as he's ok you have nothing to worry about. I only get an email when finished and your $70 order just might be taking a bit longer. It took 2 1/2 -3 wks for my single Homelite super 1050 order.

Yeah for sure I've bought alot from him and appreciate the hard work and great product. I would get a confirmation email of purchase and didnt this time. I sent email asking to just confirm that you recieved my order and all is good. Communication is key when doing good business. I dont mind waiting the 3 weeks it usually takes but atleast answer my emails please. I'm sure hes a great guy and hope that all is well and good health.

I wouldn't trust Joe Salva to save my life, I spent hundreds on decal sets and carb kits with him.
Then i sent him a Mcculloch 2 man diaphragm cuz he needed it to take the original metal tabs
off to put on the new diaphragm and i never got it back. He will no long answer my emails or
phone calls. It's been over 2 years and still not a word from him.

I've never dealt with this guy and with that just a general observation .We're often dealing with people we have not nor ever will meet in person . As such the only opinion we can assume is what others may have experienced .
Often times items may have been given on a loan expecting to be returned but never will be .You might not ever hear from the person again .Several examples of same are those pain in azz McCulloch splined sockets for the rod bolts on some Mac engines .So somebody in a pinch needs to borrow one and you never see it again .---just saying --
My only experience which really pizzed me off was an intake boot for a Mac 125 .I sent one to Australia only to see it for sale about 3 months later .That was the very last time I ever sent anything to that guy who is no longer among the living .
So what I'm saying is some, actually most are honest but some are not .The later just avoid ,simple as that .

This post was not to beat up on Sugar creek supplies or him as a person by no means. It was a way of possibly getting him to contact me. It was a paypal purchase so I'm sure that I will recieve my money back or decals. Thanks

I've noticed that a "inquiry" about a person or business will always become a gang up or assault on many forums. Your question, though it may not have been meant to be against SCS has become just that unfortunately.

I ordered some for my 394XP a few weeks ago. They came within a day or two of their estimated time. I think we’ve all dropped the ball with somebody a time or two in life. Willfully deceiving somebody is a different story....

He has always come thru for me, the wait time has ways been longer then I hoped, but it does say he makes them to order, so I am probably just not patient enough.
Yeah I've never had an issue and as stated it takes a long time to get decals. It's usually first thing I order when doing a resto build. Just answer my email and say hey I'm backed up and its gonna take extra week or two....that's all I'm looking for.

Joe doesn't keep decal kits on hand and has them made as the orders come in. His supply chain may be having some problems due to the present world situation causing a longer than normal delay. I have never had any issues getting my orders.
I found out why he makes them fresh as I had a decal kit for a Homelite 900D that I kept putting off finishing until the decal kit was about a year old. It was very tedious to get the lettering to remain attached to the carrier strip that holds them in the correct position until they are applied to the saw. I had to use a needle to gradually coax each letter to separate as they should and remain attached to the carrier strip. After that ordeal, I will only order when I am ready to attach the decals as soon as they arrive.

I suppose some would try to get a restored old saw to look just like it just came out of the factory both in mechanical condition as well as cosmetically .I have on some occasions myself .However a coat of paint and decals has very little to do with how it preforms .Besides that if you pretty them all up then you don't want to use them .Then you have a dolled up shelf queen .

I did recieve my decals and stand corrected. But please sellers just give some communication so that the buyer knows he hasn't been ripped off. The sad part why people are so quick to assume they have been ripped off is by the large number of bad dealings in the chainsaw community. Once again I own up to " I jumped the gun" but please just give some communication.
