Someone stole my Small saw today from Walmart. I came out to my trunk open and no saw or toolbox. I use it almost daily and need a replacement. It was a Makita DCS34. I'm looking for similar displacement/power, but more power is always good! My only real requirement is that the new saw comes set up for 3/8 .050LP 52dl or accepts the A041 mount since I have a few bars already. Used is probably my only choice since I'm very broke due to some unexpected complications with our remodel. @chipper1 you have anything beat up and cheap? How about the small Echos at home depot, the CS310 is set up how I require?

Sucks man. Maybe a 421 could be in your future. And A041 is only a few minutes away from fitting a K095 "small husqvarna" if you find something in that flavor.

I have a small shindaiwa that needs a new home. You would have to get it going but it can be yours for shipping.

Funds probably won't get me to a 421 unfortunately. I might get by with my 6421 but I used that 34 more than anything. I'm so pissed

Forgot about that. I have 1 for sale close. I'll have to go look tomorrow

If the one near you is no good, let me know. There’s one for sale at the HD here. It’s pretty clean, and I’ve been eyeballing it for a little while. I could grab that and ship it to you.

The more I think about it I don't really care if I can use my old stuff. I might could sell all the new chain and bars to fund a new saw. Looking at a used rental ea4300 tomorrow

Thanks @huskihl. I'll let you know. I never made it to Depot today but I'm off tomorrow so I'll get there for sure. I'm hoping that makita is as nice as the rental 6421 I bought from the same store

I'm a little bummed, that 4300 looks like it was drug down the road by a truck.

Dolmar ps-32 or ps 35 (Makita ea 3200/ea3500) will more than fit your requests for a replacement saw.

You want me to take another look at the one here? I won’t be able to until Monday morning, but I’m going to HD then anyways.

Thanks. I think I found something locally, he's bringing up to me at work tomorrow. Supposed to be a never fueled Echo CS352. Basically a direct replacement in my mind. Same bar mount and everything. Said he'd take $150, so we'll see in the morning

I don't know how they compare to the makita, but they're pretty good with a little grinding, and .043 gauge chain. Just don't settle for a 310.
