Stihl special tool identification

The tool that looks like a threaded bolt has a pin that goes through the top, looks like it might act as a depth gauge???

Any ideas as to what it is?

Could be a test flange. Do you have a part number for that?

No, both those tools came in an incomplete tool kit #0000-890-1705.

No, it's right hand threaded. The square flange is definitely for an old piece of equipment.

the flange looks like the older version of 1106-850-4201

the boltoks like it is for the ts wheel bearing assembly run out plate with is use with the older stihl ignition timing kit.

Here's a photo of the set I got off ebay 0000-890-1705. I live about 4 miles from the factory in VA.Beach. None of the dealers here know what it is.

that tool kit is in the stihl 1985 tool manual i have it in paper but dont have it in pdf. the flange you got is from tool kit 0000 890 1710. the flange is part number 1119-850-4200. its used on the 038 saws

i could have swore that i make a copy of the 1985 to pfd. let me do some digging. if i did i know i would have sent it to @ray benson cover is orange with a wrench and nut

ok the bolt is for

4110 850 0200 tool. that tool was for mounting needle cages into guide tubes
