Time to make more space in my shop too many saw projects
This saw was one of my first builds and being so I made a mistake er two so this saw is for repair or parts.
The Good,
Saw is all OEM except for the Meteor Piston and caber rings.
Crankcase held Vac and pressure before I tore down for inspection
Fuel tank/rear handle were replaced with an OEM Unit 3 yrs ago a few small scuffs in nice condition,
at the same time new OEM fuel line, intake boot, impulse hose/ HD2 A/F
Saw has only seen >15 hrs of use, was my back up saw working for a pro tree service.
Carburetor was rebuilt 6 months ago with new gaskets, check valve and o rings passed pressure test.
No stripped threads or cracks on the crankcase, fuel tank
The Bad,
The piston started to transfer on to the cylinder surface due to a lean condition/ leaking carb H O ring
I rebuilt this saws as a gasket delete with a meteor piston and caber rings piston is scored
Cylinder Wall shows a slight amount of transfer and one very faint scratch that can be cleaned up a split shaft and some abrasion.
The Ugly,
Crankshaft threads on the F/W side are Jacked (see Photos) the remainder of the threads held proper torque for the life of the saw, Maybe some one with more resources could repair.
Plastics cylinder shroud and A/F cover are faded with scratches and one crack on top left of the filter box
Crank case has lost a considerable amount of its paint (see photos)
I considered this saw to be operational up until about 6 months ago, I was performing a routine maintenance and I noticed signs that she was not running correctly, at which time I retired her form duty.
If I have missed something that you notice in the photos let me know so I can update the AD.
Im asking $250 payment through PayPal accepted 3% or F & F
buyer pays shipping, west of the Mississippi message me.
Thanks for looking
