Have a ms170 chainsaw it's the older model coil broken I cannot get one it's a walbro r3q98 anyone selling one or no where to get one thanks rob

As far as I know most parts are interchangeable with all versions of 017 and 170.

I think they do for the most part. I just know I had spent some time comparing parts and stuff because I needed new AV buffers, but the dealer wanted a serial number when the buffers appeared the same for every model 017/170/180. Just search for the same part for each model and compare visually or compare the part numbers.

Mine is the older model fitted with walbro coil all coils for sale on Ebay are for newer models thanks for messages
