Would a 180 work? Is the larger engine allowed in the 170?
Have to use the 170 engine. Bore and stroke anyway. I'm not sure if the 180 chassis is different or not.

I’ve got a 017 complete basket case here. Unfortunately shipping would cost almost as much as buying a new 170.
Man... that darn shipping...

I replaced my buddies 170 with a 026 not long ago. I’ll ask him what he wants for the 170.

FYI, the 170/180 are basically the same saw. Major components (Motor Housing, Handle Frame, Shroud, etc) are identical on both units. The only major difference is in the cylinder/piston, and some sprocket covers and rewind starters depending on if they are "C" models or not. Hope this helps your search!

The cost of regular shipping is terrible right now with the holidays coming up but international shipping has gone bonkers.
They have to stay stock bore and stroke. But may do some sleeves and make heads etc.

I'll see what I have at my shop when I go back in on Thursday (08Dec). I'm getting ready to toss out a lot of stuff upstairs in the "Island of Misfit Toys". If there is anything useful, you can have it, basically for shipping costs and a few bucks for my time and gas.

Are you still looking for 1130 series saws? If so, I have a pile of them I may part with. Been thinning down my inventory. Much of these are disassembled and cleaned components ready to build into runners but I don't have the time or energy to work on saws these days. I also have a bunch of 1123 series saws (021, 023, 025, etc). Where in MI are you? I get up there a couple times a year or more (Grand Rapids area)
