Yes it’s only a 25cc weed wacker engine but it is on a pole saw.

Will a base gasket delete help? Or, not worth the effort?

Time for a piston kit on this one I have.

Pump him up a bit!

Yeah, right! [emoji2960]

I inquired about the same thing a while back. Answer I got was the extendo shaft wouldn't take the extra snort. Don't know if that's true or not. But I didn't want to tear anything up so I let it be. Now that I own two I may experiment. I know the fs75 wakes up real nice and it's the exact same powerhead.

Yes, there is the telescoping shaft with just so much torsional strength.

Gasket delete and slam it back together, I will.

Stihl runs again.

FS90 shaft + FS75 engine + Farmertec head = shorty pole saw/weed wacker.

New top ring on the piston and base gasket delete. Feels like it has a touch more torque.

Now to rebuild the HT75 with the leftovers. It needs crank seals for sure.

The HT75 engine is back among the living.

New aftermarket top end, crank seals and base gasket delete.

Some awkward running it sans pole but the bearing in the clutch housing is dry, so waiting on a replacement.

what kind of pull is it to start? good and snappy?? Do you think the delete bumped the compression on a new top end?

About as snappy as 25cc gets I suppose.

Stands to reason, removing .020” has more effect on a 34mm bore than a 48 mm bore.
