Stihl chain

I cant seem to find square chisel half skip 63 gauge 3/8 chain in south east and no stihl dealer will sell it to me if i can find it west coast dont know why its only a regional thing its driving me crazy im looking for some 84 drive link loops and 105 drive links please help

Allready did wont ship to me they said they arnt allowed and can only ship to alaska i told them i wasnt a competitor or another business i was just a individual guy i love stihl chain an there saws but its total bull when u cant get all the chains stihl sells cuz a particular chain stlyle and size is priortery to a specific region and my region stihl distributor cant even get it biggest crock i have ever heard makes me wanna change brands all together allmost

E bay might be worth a look I rarely run skip or stihl chain in general but I have bought it on ebay just a thought

Maybe try to go with the flow and try whatever the locals are using? I do like Stihl chain, however since switching to Woodland Pro I don't see as much difference (aside from price) as I'd have thought. I like having them show up on my door step rather than chasing them down too. The ones I've received have all been Carlton chains and very good quality.

I use all of it but carlton is my favorite. I feel it holds an edge similar to the stihl but it sharpens way easier I have one loop of stihl chain. Good stuff but I'll not buy any more. Too expensive and it just isn't that much better My opinion anyhow

Isnt carlton chinese now i used to love there bars i did find a dealer or 2 that will sell stihl chain one shop actually has a roll of chain on order he has it in full skip and said he will order a roll im gonna start buying all chain from him he will ship usps priority to my door area im in these shops u tell them rs u get rs3 i believe wich is green green not yellow dumbys

Any Stihl with 3 after it rs3 rm3 rd3 etc is the reduced kick back chain version.

I know i live in an area were there is more landscape tree work then pro work shops are terrible several in my area i actully have had several disagree about my parts based on my model i look up my own part numbers its bad one local shop my dad has homeowner stihl saw it didnt sound right he bought saw brand new from them it had a 3/8 bar on .325 sorocket and chain tore bar and sprocket up it came with 18 he wanted it switched to 16 and thats what he got

I haven't bought any carlton lately I have plenty of chain at the moment. I have a new loop of woodland pro which is exactly the same stuff I hadn't heard they were chinese chains now ? Recently they were not chinese
