I have a plethora of D025 bars from 24-42” for my various larger Stihl saws. I want to buy and port an Echo 7310, simply because I haven’t ever run one, and I’ve heard good things from two seasoned pros who use them professionally.

Anyone tried mating the larger Echo saws to a D025 bar? I’m hoping it’s as easy as mounting one on a Huksy.

I believe the ECHO 7310 is a D009 bar mount.

You'd only need a bar adapter.
Maybe You'd have to drill a oiler hole, but I don't know for certain.

Nothing that can not be made fit.

You need a bar adapter like what you can buy or one that you can make in your shop using hardwood or plexiglass glued together:

That's my Echo CS-670. I like this saw.

Sometimes steel can be made to work too. ;)

I once made "adapters" for my neighbors Husqvarna wearing a 12mm Stihl bar out of two M8 nuts.
Drilled the hole/thread out to 9mm and flattened two opposing sides to 12mm.
It was a quick fix and it is flimsy, but it still works.
