Hey peeps, looking for a 10mm 044 case. Namely the PTO side, I have a good flywheel side. I'll buy a whole case but if you just have a decent PTO side that'll work too. Not interested in any 12mm cases.....I've got a few of those.

I've gathered up enough parts on my bench (including an "iffy" slant fin cylinder thet imma throw the dice on) to build another 10mm/12mm combo so I may as well do it before I sweep all these parts into a box and tuck em away! Any leads or help is greatly appreciated.....

I have a set of 10mm cases that has a bad crank. They look pretty good on the outside no cracks or anything broken I’ll split them tonight or tomorrow inspect the inside, clean them up and send pics

Quite a few, the bottom clearances (volume) are tighter in the 10mm case, pretty sure deck height is slightly different, early 10mm cases also had 4mm top cover and recoil screws which changed over to 5mm with the 12mm saws. This picture shoes some quick references when looking from the outside of the case at a glance.....

The second hybrid I built, I used a NOS set of 10mm wrist pin 044 case halves. That one turned out to be a great runner. I had to do some clearance work with the crank and a few spots in the case. I fell timber with it for a few months and sold it. That's one I'd like to have back - a great machine.

The one I just built is probably my favorite saw I've ever owned. I'll own it til I die.....

10mm case, 12mm crank and piston, slant fin cylinder, .018 squish, worked over the transfers, DP muffler, home-built tool steel spikes. It's a beast......

Yeah, I'm so tired of the ice we have here from the rain & freezing.
My nieghbor burned all his wood 10-12 cord, as we speak he just dug his way to the pile I have here with his bobcat. Next week sposed to be in the 60's:sun_smiley:

Also have 6-8 slant fin cylinders that will also be listed.
Hello sir, It would go along way with myself and others on here to offer @Scotty Overkill the discount you previously talked about. I'm sure it would be to your advantage in the future. Thx. timg
