I am selling my 084 and parts that I have accumulated over the years. Will post those in the parts section. Had the cases powdered by Mike glock37. Think it turned out well. Has HD filter setup. Switched to the newer style oil pump drive and sprocket. Also has the newer sprocket cover and in my opinion the better new style long shoulder bar studs. Also has the tillotson ht12e carb. Also has the 880 brake handle.
I put it together years ago and never used it. Put fuel and oil in it today and starts and runs and oils as it should. I have not cut wood with it. I did a little build thread on it then. https://opeforum.com/threads/stihl-084-project.23477/page-3
I am going to include a brand new oem piston and cylinder kit. Has oem base gasket and piston pin bearing. I cleaned up the cylinder and it should be fine but I wanted the buyer to be covered in case I missed something.
