Have for sale a nice running 084 non hd. That i am helping to sell for a friend. It is not that cosmetically nice. But a solid saw. Oils as it should.Has a new upper av mount. Brake handle in good shape. New air filter. 1000 shipped. If my price is out of line let me know.

I don't think your out of line. All mine are cleaner but one and one is HD. 1200 plus shipping won't take the nice HD saw here.
Another saw has a beat up case on one pto side... must have pitched a clutch but all oem replaced including the brake band. It's fine for my mill and has an almost new oe top end. Complete running 084's are tough to find. I passed on more than half of my 084 finds this past year. They were trashed and bagged out.
