FOUND IT Stihl 064 HD filter parts

Looking for the filter base and cover to convert an 064 to use the HD2 filter.
Doesn't need to be mint, just useable.

Do you need one for a compensating carb (snorkel thing) or a regular diaphragm cover?

Corey Corp I think had a non compensating for sale on fbook.

I have this, base has the hole for the snorkel.

I might have a base without snorkel, would have to look, tomorrow.

That's a question I don't have an answer too.
I can always plug the compensating snorkel on the base.

Those parts are the same. The early metal bases without the compensating snorkel are pretty rare - they were only production for about three years.

So yeah, those parts would fit your 064 straight away.

Yeah, when I asked the guy and he "wasn't sure" he had anything, then came back from the shelf with the base and cover, I noticed right away it was a non compensating base that Jacob said was pretty uncommon.
They are NOS too, will end up being the nicest things on the damn saw..
