Might have one Kyle. Any particular PN’s you have for the correct coil?

The one he has pictured is the 1122 400 1300 coil, which is unlimited.
I thought he was posting what he has now, not what he wanted. I figured there was a dog leg coil for it that was unlimited.

Aren’t 1300 coils “dummy coils”?

Won’t any 024 and up coil work then?

Is it more an issue of keeping it all the correct PN’s for the 064 model?

If Kyle wants a coil with start retard, won’t a 460 coil work?

I have like 5-6 coils here for the 064, but many have the extra “chip” on the side.

The 0000 400 1300 are the dummies. The 1122 400 1300 is the dogleg. He has to have the extra mount boss in his case to use the dummy. JJ can take us all to school on these 064 coil setups.

That’s the coil currently on the saw and it’s dead. I need a like and kind unlimited coil. There’s only one slot on the flywheel.

Yeah, you need the 1122 400 1300 coil then. They're a dummy coil like the 0000 400 1300 "universal" module, but the mounts are different. Chris from Tasmania (@L34) made an adapter
to run the universal module on his 064 with the dogleg mounts.

460 coil won't necessarily work the same way, although it will make an aggressive running 064. They have the timing curve to compensate for the polymer flywheel that flexes at high speeds.

Can you run a 460/046 coil on the last flat top 066?

My saw has the aluminum wheel. Big bearing small clear tank HD filter. Red lever saw with no red light no decomp.

I would recommend against using a 460 coil then. Just use the dummy coil and then do a small timing advance and then you don't have to worry about running in hot weather.

I prefer the 1128 (046) coil with the 1201a flywheel. They’re “aggressive” for sure but are a blast to run.

Yep. 1122 aluminum flywheel paired with an 1128 046 coil. Wigglesworth suggestion from about ten years ago on AS. Both flywheel and coils are rare to find these days.

I’d also try the aftermarket 064 coil next time I need one. I’m running four 064s and have two 1122 1300 and two 1128 (1309?) combos.
