I have an 032 with a busted rear handle and a parts saw with a good one. Is it me or is this a *b-word to change? It seems like you have to take half the damn saw apart to change the handle/cover. Am I doing something wrong or is this what the process is?

Very similar to the 056 design It has been a while but don't forget a screw on the under side of kill switch area. I would dissect the broken one to verify first. I take the 2 screws all the way out on pto side holding rubber mounts (near top handle end and lower back just forward of carb box) g'luck some Hopefully someone will come along with more specific details..

yes pita but doable just take time youll be a expert in no time
If I am looking at this right do you have to remove the carburetor and all of that? It looks like the whole rear of the saw coming off from behind The Jug just to change the handle...

If it wasn't for a really good friend, I would just throw that MF'er in the ditch. I don't think it was even worth repairing but it is his only saw.
