I was looking for a new decal for my 365xt and while looking through the ipl I seen 2 different springs, standard and hard? I knew the stihls had different rubbers but did not on the husqvarnas... I'm assuming my 3 372s have the standard? has anyone compared the 2? He hard might be better for the guys who run longer bars...

To me, they seem not to bend and stretch out as easy. Price is stiff for sure.

Also- keep in mind- the aftermarket springs/mounts for the 365/371/372 are based on the softer versions usually. The OEM mounts are expensive but they do last a lot longer.

I know, I know this is an old thread but the last question was never answered and that is a question I have. I'd like to know what setup I have on several 372 handles I have. This is what I've seen for end cap colors and spring wire diameters:
Front handle spring:
Black - ~3.4mm
Blue - ~3.4mm
White - ~3.6mm
Rear handle spring:
Blue - ?
Gray - 3.2mm
White - ?
Cylinder spring:
Black - 3.2mm
Gray - 3.1mm

What I don't know is if these are OEM or not. I assume that the thicker wire diameter indicates the spring is the 'hard' type.

Does anyone know for certain what the end cap colors indicate?

Thanks
