Somedays you should not be permitted to touch a saw

A minor tale of woe.

Went to cut some firewood for a friend in need today. Being a lazy bugger had the dolmar 152 and my newly aquired poulan 6000 (rebadged dolmar 152) with me.

Cut the first log, around 24". Which turned out to be useless anyway.

Broke handle on 152, saw then flooded and finally broke the starter pawl...

Ok poulan 6000 time, started it up and wasn't running right... pull starter cover, well @$@#$$@# me $/@^@&@ a pitch fork, flywheel nut sheared off taking crank end with it...

So as they are both 152, will atleast be able to make 1 out of 2...

Anyone else have a day like this recently..

Broke the rope on a 288 one time as it started.
Only saw i had with me so i just refueled with it running got the job done though lol

I broke the flange on a mint 385 cylinder taking the clutch off. Impact didn't get it so I tried a breaker bar and rope.

That sucks right there.
My friend borrowed a used but nice 660 off his neighbor with a spanking new 28 inch bar the maple was hollow set back and rolled with the saw off the stump it was done i got a few screws out of it lol
He bought his neighbor a better one and a new bar that set him back a pretty penny.

Stupid 041 I was messin with yesterday for a friends father lost clutch linings. Fixed it, tried to start it, inconsistent spark. Fixed the kill switch and the plug wire and got her to run. Then 5 minutes in it spectacularly *s-word the flywheel bearing/seal and ate the starter rope in one fell swoop. Its 1 of 2 041s that he has, told me he loves the saw before he left yesterday. . It happens.
