I use Amsoil Saber oil. The main reason, the smell doesn't give me a headache.

NYH1.
Yeah I have just tried it, it burns so much cleaner (smell wise) than anything else I have tried yet. Not put enough time on it to test if it burns cleanly in the engine though. So far I like it a lot.

I'm a Preferred Customer, we use a few other products from them too. I pay $46.65 for a case of twelve, 6.4oz. bottles. Each bottle mixes 2.5 gal. @50:1 (makes 30 gals. of mix).

NYH1.
Ok I seen some for around $110 for a gallon and I thought that was really high
I didn't know that stuff cost that much

Dose the oil and gasoline stay mixed after shaken?

No buggie, just thought of the oil threads.
Yesterday made a fresh batch and noticed a small leak in the gas can. Worn or damaged spot 2/3 up the jug.
If the oil settles my mix was getting richer as it leaked.

Just some of the dumb things I think of when the tune is not behaving,
time for a carb kit on this one next.
Probably pine sapped like the rest of the saw lol.

As for oil, closing in on a gallon of echo and all seems well.

Thanks, I see the preferred customer thing now.
I'll try it next. My engines don't have a memory for oil, and this is highly recommended here.

Echo RA was around $62.5/gal plus tax and shipping from my local dealer. So, yeah that's expensive.

I like what I have seen with Honda HP2 when pulling my cylinders or mufflers. It's one of the only synthetics I have seen advertise running 32:1 right on the front label. It leaves very few deposits from my own experience. I think if you are a 32:1 guy, you would be happy since this synthetic was specifically designed to run clean at that ratio. Something to consider.

Right now I have been using some Klotz Skicraft. I bought it for my lawnboy mower since they like an ash less premix. Runs great in my saws as well, even though tcw3 oils and saws trigger some folks. I haven't pulled mufflers yet, but I don't expect anything abnormal. I'm going back to HP2, I just had this Skicraft handy for a while.
