PPE is important, had a friend this last weekend was limbing trees on the ground in tennis shoes with his Husky 455 and swiped it across his big toe on his left foot, doctors were able to save the toe, albeit it is now is a chain-link width shorter. I doubt he was wearing chaps either.
My lower legs look really weird.

My tractor wouldn’t start, jump the solenoid and it fired up. No forward or reverse. You could see the slightest movement flipping the shuttle shift back and forth. Changed the hydraulic filter with maybe two hours on it, add more fluid for fun, went through all the connections, battery terminals etc. The 1234 shifter was in neutral the whole time. I must’ve done it when it wouldn’t crank and was too wound up to take a minute to look. The good news is the other filter must’ve been loose or something else was up with it because now the loader is smooth.

i hate when i miss something simple and look for all the most complicated things to be wrong and it was my fault.
one time the tail lights on a car i had just got didnt work right. they all lit up but they werent right. i spent two days trying to figure out wtf. i took the seats out and traced all the wires looking for the short. i finally figured it out. the bulbs were in the wrong sockets. the two wire bulbs were in the single wire socket and vise versa. i was so happy to have figured it out. it was a good lesson in check the simplest thing first. lol

I know that feeling...
I chased a Temp idiot light in my dad's old '65 El Camino, including draining and flushing radiator, replacing temp sensor, changing thermostat, etc. for a couple of weeks. Dang light would still come on after the engine got up to temperature, but never boil over or blow out the cap.
Took a good bit of wire chasing and laying in the floorboard under the dash, but come to find out sometime when he was still around he had accidentally installed the bulbs in the wrong holes in the instrument cluster. Turns out it was a bad oil sending unit, 20 minute fix.

Here a mixture of water and calcium is used so it doesn’t freeze
Beet juice is used in warmer climates as it doesn’t freeze as quick as water and doesn’t hurt the metal rims.
Antifreeze, RV antifreeze are both options.
It will make a difference till you get wieghts for the wheels
I use windshield wiper fluid on sale. Pretty cheap.

Your body and mind take days to get adjusted, then it's time to come back and you go through it all again. I am so happy that I don't have to do that any more. Now days, the shift to daylight savings throws me off...

Today was much better. I’m getting over my jet lag and terrible afternoon tiredness. Visited Hobart in Tasmania and took a short jaunt on a replica sailing ship.

Georgia is in the hospital several spinal problems .They are going to do some type of injecting material to lift the spinal discs ,non invasive .I've got one area with a bulging disc and it's affecting the sciatic nerve .Longest nerve in the body affecting many things .I'm seeing the bone cruncher on this nuisance .Other than that things are great .This aging thing is not for sissys .

I chased a cruise control and shift out of park issue on my wife’s car for a few years. It was an intermittent problem with the brake light switch

What a time saver this thing is, it may not leave a pretty looking lawn, but it smashes weeds in minutes (compared to a walk behind & weedeater!).

I walk behind mowed, tractor mulched & weedate all day today.
Some 80-85%% done, two households/yards, too dark to keep going even with a fairly powerful LED headlight.

And as I was writing this post, this little guy casually passed in front of my shop door.
Been a while since I last seen one! 🥰
