Ran this new rebuilt 462C for a tank full, just to give it a good test. I like it! Great in this size wood, obviously doesn't have as much snot as my XS500I which it's pictured beside, but I reckon it's a bit smoother. Saw has been sold so if I want one I'll have to find another.

Finished install ofIMG_9161.JPG IMG_9162.JPG new water pump on 06 LBZ. Now I see why dealership has labor at $800+, who ever heard or having to remove harmonic balancer (takes awhile to get to that point) to change water pump. Only took me about 9 hours, but it's done. You cannot see pump under everything in it's way.

I thought the same thing. I wondered why mine didn’t overheat when an idler pulley seized up and blew the belt. I watched a couple YouTube videos and replaced mine myself. Never thought it would’ve had an internal oil lubricated gear drive water pump

Worst part for me was snapping a 1/2" SK breaker bar on harmonic bolt and removing those two 12mm nuts on lower coolant tube. First remove inner fender cover, then inner cooler tube, then became irritated and removed fan guard support, that little bracket is held on by two 18mm bolts. Designer of that needs a swift kick in their azz. How long did it take you on that project, if you don't mind me asking. I thought it was going to be a new career for me. Nothing like doing a water pump on 350 Chevy! Good thing is belt can go and you can just go to parts store for a new one.

I can’t remember how long. I was thinking about 5 hours.
I have a 3/4” drive set I used with a cheater pipe on the dampener. But the weird part was smacking the fan clutch nut with a 3’ long punch and hammer. Like removing a chainsaw clutch. Never would’ve thought it would come loose like that
