Have one I use for changing seals, drill a small hole in the metal part of the seal, twist in the pointed screw and usually one pull and out they pop. I also use a magnet to go over the bearings real good to make sure any and all shavings are removed. Not my favorite way, but handy sometimes.

To pull an outer race, weld a bead on the inside of it with a mig welder. When it cools it will shrink the race so much that it will fall out. This works really well when you can't get a puller behind it, or on steel valve seats.

When trying this out, don't go too wild on the heat knob on the welder. You will end up welding the race to the bore.
