Sorry pics posted twice.
I'm always looking for quicker cheaper ways to do things so I came up with this while working on an 880.
#1 use self drilling screw and washer to attach used ring to top of piston.
#2 cut ring flush with piston edge on both sides
#3 stick piston on a handle of some kind ( I just used a pair of channel lock pliers up side down in a vice )
#4 slide cylinder onto piston and rotate
#5 finish with sandpaper lightly
Easily removed .06 from squish band in little time.
Hope this helps someone out
If I just need to adjust squish a little bit by lowering the jug 5 thou or so, I'll just stick some DA sandpaper to the bench. Measure in all 4 corners first, then go to sanding on the base. Probly 5-10 min
