Show me your walking stick

I always like to carry something when we our out walking the trail. Hurt my knee last week tore the meniscus, so I am carrying this. Included is pick of new one I am working on. I think it’s dogwood. Old one I think is hickory. Two coats os stain first one with a red tent and sanded some off and applied second coat golden oak. Then I put 3 coats of Watco antique oil finish.

Yeah I like a nice walking stick always looking when out I; t(e woods for a nice Hazel stem or holly stem
I usualy make a few a year nothing fancy just stout and functional and donate them to our local cancer charity shop

Finished this one last week. Gave it away. Put a Marble made in West Virginia in the top and made a leather handle for it. Badge is from Lake Moomow in Bath Co Virginia.
