I had pretty much dismissed shinnies over the years but now realize there are some real wolves hiding in the tall grass

73.5cc, don't know the piston size off the top of my head...

OK so for those of us not too familiar with the 757 that's a bit bigger than a 372XP or 044/MS440 and a smidgeon smaller than the 046/MS460.
I need to do more googling

73.5cc, don't know the piston size off the top of my head...

51mm, domed piston. They make pretty good runners. Like most Japanese-designed two-strokes, they make their power in a lower RPM range but the motors have a lot of torque. An arborist buddy of mine uses ones of these on big removals with a 28" bar and it's a real workhorse and does a good job in the tree without being too bulky.

Turns out you got lucky to get this saw at all, the mower/saw shop I bought this one and another 757 from got hit by robbers the night before, I stopped in yesterday morning for a chain and got the news, more than thirty saws were stolen!!.......
