I just came across this blower. Can anyone enlighten me on these.
Are they any good?
It looks like it is from 1999. It was a little beat up. It wasn't working. I think spark plug boot was off. Two pulls and it started right up. Only way to shut it off is to pull the plug boot off.
Anyone know where to get a shop manual for these?
Looks like it was a pro commercial model. 62cc motor. Runs strong for its condition.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Shinie blowers are topnotch. I have a 500. The throttle linkage is how mine shuts off

I gotta check the cable and see. Maybe its not going back enough to shut down?

I ran mine, yesterday. I bet it will blow a cinderblock/066 across the yard.

Are you saying the stop switch doesn't work or you can't find it? If it doesn't work you may be able to clean the contacts. If you can't find it, it's on the inside portion, just below the throttle lever, push it with your thumb.

Looks like yours may be unplugged, though.

Red switch is the stop button. Those wires should connect to a harness coming off of the coil.

#5 in this diagram from ereplacementparts.com

I will check closer. The harness must have gotten ripped off.

Pretty cool looking old blower. I like buying old “broken” stuff and getting it running. Especially things that people tell me can’t be fixed lol

Yup. I feel guilty a little. I may give it back to the guy. Only thing wrong was the plug wire was disconnected. 2 pulls and it started up. Sounded very good for an old 2 stroke engine. [emoji106]

Plug wire was how the guy shut it off I think. Just pull the wire off the plug.

That I don't think that's the factory plug wire/boot, it's shaped differently on top.
