Same here:

This saw runs perfectly and has lots of power. Made back when Poulan made some dandy saws in the USA. It's a classic in my book.

Is a compatible Hybrid cylinder an option? Aren't there a few old poulans that fit other cylinders without too much work?

Wrist pin is a press fit into the connecting rod. Bearings are in the piston.

This happened today.....pin walked out. Aftermarket prototype parts.

Pin is probably a little undersized.

This would be my suggestion as well, but be forewarned that that Ray highly valued his stuff. You might also want to check with Kevin Smith in Ohio.
