School is out K thru 12.

Schools are closed for the next two weeks so far due to corna 19. That is all K thru 12, what do you do with your kids while your working? send them to day care, Is that like sending them to school but not doing any learning?
Send them to grandma and grandpa? trying to drive them so crazy you have to put them in a home after they have lost their mind. rewmember thy had already put up with you.
some schools I am told will have on line classes for 11 thru 12 so they can graduate

Some of the fixes are not much of a fix way I see it.

My son is in 7th grade, he will have online class time, webinars, and school will go on. Just not at school.

Luckily my daughter is a teenager so no childcare worries for me, and she's a self starter so any on-line/homework she has she will handle. Otherwise it's just an extended spring break for her. She went to stay with her mom for a few days up towards Al's from me.

I work 3rd so the next 2 weeks will be like last week were the little *s-words will keep me up all day.

On a brighter note it rained today so we are stuck in the house.

They have weekly packets to complete, sorta like home schooling. Small town stuff here, there are kids in my sons class with no internet.

Schools are out for at least two weeks here in CT.
My 10 year old has an Internet school system set up. They log in, through school owned iPads, at 9am every morning, to do regular school work and submit for the teachers to review.
The days the schools are closed counts towards the 180 day school year, so they won’t have to make the year longer come summer.
