I recently built an 046 for myself but I haven't started it since I tested it. I don't cut much anymore and I'll grab my Huskies when I do because I'm a brand slut, so no sense it rotting on a shelf.

I pieced this saw together completely from parts so here the best to my recollection rundown of parts:

OEM 3/4 wrap.
AM powder coated spikes from customchainsawparts.
AM large west coast clutch cover.
AM bar studs with longer bar pad shoulders.
Max flow filter kit, I'll find the other less dense foam filter to include with it.
OEM decomp cylinder.
Used OEM crank.
New Meteor piston.
New AM main bearing (quality ones with steel cages).
New modded HyWay dual port muffler.
Used OEM clutch in good condition.
AM clutch drum to trued up to work better.
AM rubber parts.
OEM elasto-start handle.
Mostly AM screws.

The case has been welded, it had a stress crack due to a big end rod bearing failure that was allowing the rod to rub the case. It's solid but there is no paint there... see picture.

The cylinder is OEM decomp (not D chamber). The spark plug hole has been welded and repaired and I tightened up the chamber a bit at the same time so it's got healthy compression.

$750 plus the ride.
