I really enjoyed the 661 I ran the other day and couldn't say that about the 660 I had which is why I sold it. But I figure your making a living with timber falling by your name and I only do part time arborist work and firewood selling so your no doubt using your saws a lot more than me. I enjoy all the brands and have no complaints with any for my more limited use

540 with rear handle, named 539XP. Would prefer them to stuff in G as well, would be nice to use Husky instead of those MS 201!!! My last 201 was borrowed away, i dont care if I get it back, piece of junk.

I would like the main saw makers to find another way to build saws that satisfy emissions without going down the "Electronic carb/management " rout . Try getting to grips with a modern car/truck/lory...etc , without a large amount of diagnostic equipment that enables even the basics to be undertaken...hope another way can be found with 2 stroke engine to make them simple to run and maintain or its likely to be a main dealer trip for everything.

I am sorry to say Simon but I think we only gone see new chainsaws with more and more electronic, when next generation autotune arrive I think we gone see autotune on homeowner saws also.
We have seen in car industry that before or later there come 3th party diagnose tools, it's more a question about time before the same happen to chainsaws as well.
The cheapest diagnose tool worked as a champ on my VW Passat, can read off errors and reset different brains, and such a tool would be more then good enough for us....
