Some seem to think so, 385/390 carb is also an option

The 2071 currently has some model walbro on it, I've run another saw with similar numbers to mine and it feels like the carb makes all the difference. Not only am I looking to upgrade, but the carb currently on the saw is extremely touchy. An incredibly minor adjustment nets quite an rpm difference.

I would honestly try any model you gentlemen recommend, I'm not a carb expert not claim to be. One with minimal modification to make it fit would be lovely!

With the design of the top covers on the Jonsered saws you may have to run your stock airfilter for the 2071.

You should look into buying a carb setup for a Jonsered 2166. That air filter should work on your 2071 saw.

@Czed got a modded carb from @Poleman for his 372. Not sure on the details and stuff but I just know that it made a helll of a difference.

Modded c3m is a step up. Tillotson from a 385 runs and tunes the best for me. Who needs an air filter anyway[emoji3]

One of my 372's has a Tillotson setup that I'm very happy with.
