Newbie asking Does RSLK come in full comp. Thanks trying to learn. Short bars 20,24,28.

Stihl discontinued the whole RSLK line including the RSLFK (skip) and RSLHK (half-skip). For a while they kept the RSLK (Klassic cutter) designation but supplied the RSL (new swept raker cutter) instead, I'm sure that pissed off more people than just me.

I just looked at their website and it says even RSK isn't available, so no factory square ground to be had.

What is the alternative? I see that
West Coast Muscle Saws Silvey Racer Saw Chain . I dont know what just happened with these letters!!!!!!!!!!

Oregon CL is a full comp square ground.

Or pay someone to square grind some round ground chain if you don't have a grinder and don't want to do it with a file.

Who is good at grinding these? I would not mind doing with a file, but i would screw up more than fix for a while. What would be a good chain to start with ? I do not mind paying somebody that is good. Thanks for any info.

On the previous page where it says “Not Available” and it’s been that way for over 5 years.

what are you needing chain or sharpening
It will be a couple weeks before I will have a chance to do anything if you can wait that long
