My 22-250 has an open turret scope. It’s sighted in but I need to shim it and get it back to zero. Haven’t messed with it much, pretty straight forward?

Depends on the optic....if it's zeroed, you should be able to loosen a set screw or two, spin the turret to zero and tighten screws back down
