I have been on the lookout for a pro Mac 850 for a while with no luck. If you have one you want to part with, shoot me a PM.

Edit - I might also consider a PM 800 or an SP81.

It wouldn't have to be purty, but I would like to find one that is complete....even better if it runs.
I'm at work today but i'll send you some photos this weekend. I have a couple of running 850's (or 3 I can't remember) and a complete project that will be a runner. I have it torn down for complete rebuild and powder coat. Gonna be purty. I also have 2 800s both runners one purty the other a decent looking work saw. I only have one SP81 and I like it too much to part with it. The others need to be thinned out as I recognize the severity of my yellow fever.

Would be okay if I jump in here and ask if you might still be trying to thin out the herd some? I'd be happy with any of those saws! I'm somewhat new to macs but I believe I've been bitten by the bug because I want to experience them all some point!

Thanks again and kind regards!

I'll let one of the 800's go. The one that I refurbished several years ago just sits on the shelf. I pick up the ugly one and use it because I have an aversion to messing up a pretty saw. I don't mind if somebody else messes it up. I'll take $500. It will come with 24 inch mac bar and a good chain. I'll make sure it's tuned and that everything works as it should. Might take a week or 2 to get around to it.

Really?! I think I'd be pretty darn interested in that 800 for sure. I've heard some folks think they run a litter better than the 850's but I almost think it just depends on the specific saw?

Either way I'll go ahead and send ya a pm. I'm in no hurry whatsoever so even if it's a month down the road I'll still be down for the deal!

I don't mind doing a little tinkering on em so don't feel like you have to but I do really appreciate the thought there on trying to get it all ready to go before hand.

Thanks again for reaching out! I sure appreciate it!

I know the OP found what he wanted but I have a 850 that can find a shelf to hold down.
