I've got a Polan Pro PR 28 Pole Saw that the throttle stick wide open. I've taken the throttle cable off the carburetor and it works just fine. I put some oil down inside the cable housing to see if that would help, but it didn't. The cable doesn't seem to have any issues, it seems to move freely, but as soon as I hook it back up it sticks. The end of the cable at the carburetor runs at an angle across a 3/8" wide piece of plastic and maybe cutting a small groove in it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help. Happy Holidays.

Most likely the cable has some rust inside. Replacing it will be the only satisfactory fix. They are very poorly built, without a metal housing lined with plastic like proper cables.
