For sale is a Jonsered 2165 that I bought a few years back. Overall, the saw is in decent shape, but it has some cosmetic shortcomings. I had to timesert one bucking spike mounting hole and one muffler mounting hole. The saw has an OEM Mahle 48mm cylinder, and has an aftermarket Duke’s coated piston and an aftermarket muffler. Here is the list of work done to the saw:
Cut squish band
Cut cylinder base
Raised & widened exhaust
Raised upper transfers
Lowered & widened intake
Thinned choke & throttle shafts
Pipe outlet muffler mod
Timing advance
The saw starts, runs, cut, and oils well. It’s time to sell this one so I can make room in the lineup for the next Jred…a 2171WH. I’m asking $725 paypal F&F PHO shipped to the lower 48.
