I have for sale a nice ported Dolmar 7910, ported by Phil Schukraft of Krafterized Work and Performance Saws LLC. Check out his work on YouTube and Facebook. Saw starts/runs/operates as it should, has a ton of power. I’m asking $1100 shipped and insured in the us, I’ll throw a used 24” bar and chain in as well.

I'm not meaning to be anything other then helpful with what I'm about to say...
Pretty steep even at $950. As much as I love these Dolmars, and as much as it hurts me to say, the most I've ever gotten out of a ported 7900/7910 is $800 and it was all OEM and Super clean. I mean I'm rooting for ya. I really hope you do get what your asking. I just don't see it happening.
It also might help if you could list the final port timing numbers, what the current compression is, and a picture of the exhaust side of the piston.

While I respect your input and opinion, I feel my price is fair for what I’m offering. My saw is entirely oem and has some new parts as well as the hd filter kit. I would be willing to provide pics of the piston and comp reading to anyone interested. As far as numbers on port work, I don’t feel like that should be shared. Each builder has their own numbers, I feel it’s up to a builder if they want to share numbers. I don’t do port work so I’m not sharing Phil’s numbers even if he told me, that wouldn’t be right to do in my opinion.

I know all about porting Dolmars. I have several ported Dolmars that are all original with the HD filter kits. I've even got a blue Makita with the solo stroker crank in it. I love my Dolmars for sure.
As far as porting numbers I feel any builder who doesn't openly share what he's doing to your saw is a strange thing. Any time I port I saw I send it back to it's a owner with a full build sheet of everything I've done to their saw and the exact port timing numbers, squish measurements, timing advance, and the squish band and base machining amounts. Porting a saw isn't some kind of secret voodoo magic. Transparency is something that goes a long way with people. If I was buying a saw someone else ported I would definitely want to know the exact numbers to know what to expect out of it. Especially when purchasing over the internet. For example a 95° exhaust port timing runs ALOT different then a 101° exhaust port.

Again these are just my opinions.
I understand where you are coming from but you are messing with another man’s for sale thread. This isn’t the time or place to have this discussion. I’ve made my recommendation to both Gavin and Phil regarding this matter nothing more needs to be said about it in this thread. If you want Phil’s numbers I recommend sending him a PM @PHIL89 thanks in advance.

I don't think @pbillyi69 is Phil Schukraft.

I agree, this is one of my personal saws that I own. If it doesn’t sell then I’ll gladly keep it, I feel it’s priced fair.

The value of the saw, or anything for sale really, ultimately will be decided between you and the buyer. While friendly banter for the sake of free bumps is encouraged, it is incredibly poor form to come into another person’s for sale thread and besmirch, bash, or bïtch about price, etc. Negotiations are best carried out between the seller and potential buyers via PM.

I don't know Gavin and I neither gain nor loose anything from him either selling this saw or not.

Lets recap for a second:
- PH , remaining NOS 7910's in Europe top 1200$
- HD-AF ~ 100+$
- 24" Tsumura Light bar and chain, not free
- port job ~ 300$
- shipping within the US, no clue but it is not free

Current asking price is I believe 950$ shipped and open to offers.
That doesn't sound unreasonable to me.

Any saw is worth as little as the seller is willing to let it go for, and as much as the buyer is willing to pay.
In the end both parties must be in agreement to make the trade.

Just felt like venting a little, if deemed inappropriate I will delete my post.

Good luck with Your sale Gavin! 🍻
