Recently found a very nice PM700. Appears to be very low hours. Late model saw with all black blower housing and chain brake/clutch cover. Yellow air filter top.
Seems to have the original 18" bar, and what appears to be the original low kickback chain, but I cant verify that.
Saw still has kickback warning label on top of fuel tank.
Runs really well, and will get used for some larger firewood duty.
To that end, I was trying to find a 28" bar for it. This is proving to be more difficult than I thought. My job limits the time that I can actually go out and look for parts or donor saws, so most searching has been online.
I am looking for the OEM Black and yellow bar, though the OEM 18" bar that came with the saw is grey. I just like that look on the saw.
Anyone know a source that might have a new or gently used MCCULLOCH 28" roller nose bar with 3/8" tip and 050 gauge?

My local hardware store has a NOS 25" McCulloch 3/8 .050. Want to say they wanted 50 for it. If that is something of possible interest.

I might add that same bar will work on a PM 1000 if you use the McCulloch bar plates .If you use Husqvarna 2100 plates a Husky mount will work .Tid bit of the day straight from the big corn field in NW Ohio .

All those look dang sexy!
Just like that black and yellow for some reason.
Thanks for the info Al.
My 1010s is currently running a slightly modded Husky bar. Had to do a little work to make the oiler holes line up, but no problems so far.

Some Husky mounts will work on the 10 series and some wont and vice versa .I can't tell you exactly which ones but I have about 40 not already on saws .See you can amass a whole bunch of stuff if you keep at it long enough .It's like stray cats ,they just follow you home .
