No issues on my end, but haven't posted any pics since last week or better...the 8/9 pics of the warbird airplanes in the R/C Plane/Heli thread. Seems like I've only read issues about file size, some folks not being able to post pics, since I posted my R/C pics though. I'll have to try a random photo, see how it goes.
Our Admin is crossing into Canada........he's on a trip with his son. That's a great thing he and Hunter are doing, and I've tried not to bug him. What we need is to post as much info on the issue here in this thread, then when Steve can, he'll be able to log in here and see what's up.
Just posted a random pic via my iphone6+ over in the R/C Airplane/Heli thread. No issues at all but I couldn't tell the pic file size on my phone when I hit 'upload image, from phone photo library, then my option to choose thumbnail or full size'. I posted the full size pic and worked fine.
Edit---I guess I would have to be on my desktop or laptop at the house to right click on the pic and see under properties the actual image size. Don't suppose it can be done on these smartphones or I don't know how to do it one. And I go straight to the OPE site via Verizon LTE or wifi...no photobucket/Tapatalk, etc involved.
I post direct from my phone have had very few issues. Occasionally I get a file to big error message. I then text the pic to myself, save then repost that image. Works every time. Windows phone,no Photobucket,no tapatalk.
There worked again.
this is the message I get and my phone takes photos that are 5,300×3,000 and the editor doesn't give a down size option. If I crop it down to 1,200×1000 I lose 3/4 of the photo I want to share.
However smaller photo sizes will help pages load faster for people with slow Internet.
I've had trouble with that same message "file too large" I use a iPhone. If I use tapatalk on my phone it loads just fine.
There are times when they load after a few attempts.
I have not been able to load a number of pictures because the site indicates they are too large. When I was trying to post pictures of the Echo CS-530 on Saturday I got the same message. However, I was able to post them on another site where the maximum file image size is smaller than it is here.
Anytime I try to upload pictures from my Phone I get the Error File is too Large message. I have to E-Mail them to myself, save to the desktop, and upload from there. I thought it was just my old phone (Three year old Galaxy S4) until other people started complaining about the same thing.
