PAST (PA) Perry County Fair "lumberjack show" 8/27/2016

I personally have never attended but plan to this year. It will be held Saturday August 27 at 12:00 noon at the Perry Co. Fair, 248 Fairground Rd. Newport, Pa. I do not have any particulars but figured some local folks might be interested.

More info can be had on their website pecofair.org and click on the Premium Contests tab, then the "Fair Yellow Pages" link to open the PDF. Scroll to dept 22 and it lists the different events.

I think 2 or 3 chopping events, cross cut, jack and Jill, single buck, mod saw, open hotsaw, maybe log roll. . I have a poor memory....

I would say should go until mid afternoon give or take depending how it goes. The Perry county show ended around 5 with the noon start.
