So today a storm came through and dropped an ash tree in a friends yard.
Great excuse to run saws and do him a favor.

His neighbor will be splitting this beautiful ash wood for his stove and offered as a thank you the following Homelite Wiz saw. Do I suck for getting this thing gratis? I think it was last put away a runner. It's on a flower pot just for display... looks like a lawn ornament on there, but I assure you it has been stored inside.

These saws aren't worth much as they're very common but this one is in better than average condition.
They will sure make you appreciate late model saws. You got it for a great price!

I've got two old gear drive Homeys in the shed and maybe 4 other makes of gear drives .The challenge is getting them running .Maybe give them a little exercise every 6 months .Not worth a hoot to cut with but never the less a part of history .
