I have a Poulan s-6000 aka Dolmar 152? that has a serious oiler problem. I thought the drive gears might be shot but after removing clutch and oil pump I discovered that there was No oiler adjustment screw or related parts. I have not been able to locate an oil pump ,but have found out, I believe a solution. Am I correct in that part # 957-245 310 that is for Dolmar saws in the 123 to 253 will work or am I totally wrong?
If I am unable to locate parts I was thinking of maybe using silicone or something of that nature to seal opening so to be able to use it until I can locate the needed parts. I will not use JB weld or any other such permanent compounds. Any suggestions?
