I have a very nice used cylinder with very very minor marks and the piston that came out of it. The saw it was removed from had 10 hours in its log book. I pulled the parts and all cleaned up and are useable. Great deal for a budget rebuild on a MS261CM.

All are in my ultrasonic cleaner for a 100% back to better than new cleaning over night.

These parts are the 1141-020-1230 the slant finn model. OEM price quoted from from $305 to $396.

The piston will need new rings and clip, the pin and 1 clip is with it. I will give the buyer the base gasket, pressure relief valve, and fitted clean exhaust gasket with the parts all very useable. That is all that comes in the new high dollar kit.

I will post pics in the AM when they cool down and prior to oiling up and bagging. The cylinder and piston look and could work well in any rebuild.

I think $175 delivered, in lower US is a very fair price. THIS IS THE 1141-020-1230 KIT...…….

PS If concerned about my opinion about parts, I have been building rebuilding engines since my grandfather taught me how to overhaul a flat head Ford with all used parts including bearings, from his salvage yard.
When Ike was president, if you know who he is.....

Why did these parts come off a saw instead of staying on for more use?

No one makes an aftermarket cylinder that we could locate, all are made to replace the 1141–020-1200 and do not work.

I found the missing wrist pin clip in my parts washer tray, so ring the inc piston or just buy new OEM piston for $25 and you have a complete 1141-020-1230 kit at less than HALF PRICE.
