Hi lads.
Picked up a couple of 365 saws last night. The SP will get a standard OPE build on the 48mm CP jug, but I'm in two minds about the 'straight' 365.
I have a new BB kit here from a previous project. Is it likely to make a stronger saw than the smaller cc but probably better cast 365 op jug?

There were some BB372 kits years ago that ran quite well, then went right back into the dumper. So hard to say if you "won" or not on the cylinder lottery.
The 365 Special is a pretty good running saw and would be what I would recommend.

Yeah the 365Sp path is clear, it's what to do with the Not So Special SteveH. You're suggesting another 48mm CP jug?

The bb372 52mm cylinder definitely needed a little help to be a decent runner as in I took 2 small hand fulls of aluminum out of it. No machine work though.
I put mine on a blue saw, so no pedigree to maintain and not really an issue.
