Well if you change out the tip you can run 3/8 .063 I did that for the 084 I had.
Other than that milling out the slot on a 3003 bar is another option.

Yes the 25" Oregon is fairly cheap on Amazon and if you want a 3/8ths tip I would put one in the mail,or steal one of a junk bar.
Ive got several 3/8ths noses from swapping them out the other direction.

Bought A stihl brand 36 and 25 inch .404 .063. Found a 8t .404 sprocket for the 25 inch bar and chain. Found a 10t 3/8 so may swap out the tip on the 25 inch to a 3/8 and try that
