Evening slackers! Back to the grind today and finished spraying the dozer blade. I’m definitely not a painter, but it didn’t turn out too bad. We had to dissect the top skirt to get to thicker metal and then patch everything back up. My son did all the MIG welding. Three coats of epoxy primer followed up by JD/Hitachi charcoal to match the other gray on these new dozers. Next time I’ll have some Imron mixed to match. This JD paint isn’t the best quality. We have to put a few things back on tomorrow and she’ll be done.

Every year Mike, the owner of the dealership I'm at, does an employee appreciation week. Food every day, gift card drawings every hour and a table of prizes that are given away on Friday.

Sad part is 30% of the people here will grumble about what they win vs just saying thank you.
If it's something you don't need, simply give it to a family member or friend or charity even.
I really should be allowed to hit people with prybars.

That is awesome. Very few companies do that for their employees. Yes there are always people that can't be satisfied with anything. I work with some of those.

Aside from a head cold, I feel great. She is in the PT office now. They are starting to use weights now to further strengthen her leg. She is still in quite a lot of pain, but after looking at her xrays, I'd be shocked if she wasn't.

With the current exchange rate, I believe they are cheaper, including freight, coming from Canuckland

Exchange is fluctuating a a bunch and as a Canuck I can’t have CashApp or Venmo. PayPal friends and family I should be as much as $100 cheaper.

I still have a full quart from two seasons ago, so I'm not doing it again this year. I'm starting to make overnight oats nightly, with some syrup, so I'm questioning my decision. I guess I know enough folks that do it if I run out.

Thanks Randy. I wish I would have caught a few things earlier but it will serve its purpose. One of the tubes has the weld seam up and I can see it and I’m debating whether I should have added another crossmember behind the plate. It’s 3/8 so it will probably be fine.

I just noticed that ole Bill G is horning in on my business and trying to sell Arctic saws... I almost feel like being like him and going in and messing up his threads with comments about pricing and such.

@Loony661 if you are interested in a 462 Arctic let me know, probably need to act by summer if you want it ported and ready to use for next year.

I haven’t worked for 3 weeks or so, with the skidder tire blow out, and now I’m finishing up a cylinder head replacement. I gotta save some money back up before I spend on a new saw. But I’m pretty much convinced that my nect 462 will be an Arctic.
